Chalice with her 2007 foal -
Eastlands Hermes.

BARDSEY CHALICE
BY M474 Whitwell Cockade out of Camp Beauty bred
by Mrs Jane Strick, foaled 1984.
Chalice has been with us since she was 3 years old and has been
a valued member of our brood mare band. She was shown once
herself with a foal at foot, but “withdrew her co-operation and
refused to trot happily” and was eventually fourth. She is the
dam of many nice ponies including the two below.
Eastlands Terry passed as a stallion and
is now owned by Miss S Platt winner of the stallion
Class at the Northern Show in 2005 and
2006.
Eastlands Camelia
foaled 2004 and owned by Mrs Jenny Field – champion at SW
Connemara Show 2006.

BARDSEY TRINKET by Whitwell
Cockade out of Holton Flash Favour, Premium mare, foaled 1986.
Trinket has had an outstanding showing career herself being
champion many times including supreme champion at the BCPS
Northern Show in 2005 when 19 years of age. However, her best
result was probably being 4th at Dublin with a foal
at foot when 17 years of age.

She and Fred together have
many outstanding offspring, including Rosie pictured as a foal
below.

Eastlands Glendearg – photos
by the Doner family. “Eastie” as she is known was exported to
Canada and is owned by the Doners. She was American Connemara
Pony of the Year, and excelled at dressage, and was selected as
a member of the junior national team. She is now a proud
broodmare for her owners.

Eastlands Burniebrae – an
outstanding show mare. Only nine years old in 2007, but already
supreme champion connemara at RASE and Royal Dublin Horse Show.
2nd Clifden 2006

Eastlands Micklebrae owned by
Miss C. Filer photo Real Time Imaging. “Michael” qualified for
HOYS 2005 and won RIHS 2006

Eastlands Dunielle – champion
M. and M. Royal Highland Show 2003. 1st prize
yearling Royal Dublin and youngstock champion RASE 2002 and 2003

One of our newest broodmares
is DUNAMONEY LASS kindly given to us by Mrs Susan Poole. She is
nicknamed as Annie. Foaled in Ireland in 1989 she is a grey mare
with a lot of bone. Her dam is Irishtown Diana, well known as
the dam of the famous Irishtown Beauty. She is by Gloves Duke
and 148 cm. Annie has had two filly foals for us by Lockinge
Frederick.

.Annie is out of Irishtown
Diana, and had a filly foal late this year which is sold.

GOWY MADRIGAL M1040
foaled in 1992 is by Arrow Javelin and our of Bardsey Phantom.
She is a small mare only 13,2 hh and is bay, but breeds ponies
(usually colts!) up to height, and the 3 year old grey Eastlands
Mozart by Lockinge Frederick is for sale. His full brother,
Eastlands Beethoven, has been sold to Mrs. Jane Jackson and
Haydn is near Swindon. Maddy” as she is know was bred by Vanessa
Rowlands and is a great favourite.

Two of her progeny below,
Haydn and Beethoven.

Eastlands Mozart by Fred 3
years old and sold.

Maddy had an eagerly awaited
filly foal this year at the end of July, named Eastlands Love
Song. Hiding here, as she is being retained.

Love Song a little older

HALLFIELDS WHITE ORCHID is another of our
broodmare band. Foaled in l989 she is grey and 143 cm. Her sire
is the well known Leam Bobby Finn and the dam is Whitwell
Leonora

She has a stallion son in
Norway and is the dam of Eastlands White Lilac sold to Mrs
Poole. Two of her foals below, White Lilac and White Water.

Orchid produced another
nice filly Eastlands Wild Orchid, who is sold.

Orchid's 3 year old gelding
was champion gelding at the BCPS Breed Show Moreton Morrell
2007. Another by Fred, and lovely to see him again, and of
course, Amy too!

Another of our
broodmares is EASTLANDS BURNIEBRAE – home bred by Lockinge
Frederick out of the premium mare Bardsey Trinket. Foaled in
1998 she is now 144 cm tall. She has been a great “hobby” horse
for us and has won many championships. Some of her best efforts
must be Youngstock and Reserve Supreme champion BCPS Show 2001.
Sup. Champion RASE 2004; Sup. Champion Dublin 2005, and in 2006
she went to stay with the grandson of her great, great, great
grand dam Lougheera, Josie O’Sullivan, and hopes to lodge with
him and Marie again. Lougheera won Carna and Dublin, so BB has
a lot to live up to.

Burnie had one outing in 2007
and she and Favour won these trophies at the BCPS Breed Show
Moreton Morrell. Her visit to Ireland was cancelled owing to
Foot and Mouth disease.

She has had four
foals to date. Eastlands Burncleuch by Heathers Dino.
Eastlands Maisiebrae by Glencarrig Prince; Eastlands Mossybrae
by Rosenharley Laughris and is in foal to him again and due in
May 2007.
Burnie’s progeny below:-
The eldest Eastlands
Burncleuch (Dennis) is shown below. Now sold to Mrs. Collier.
He won his class at The Royal Highland in 2006, and at the BCPS
Northern show in 2005.

Her second foal as filly by
Glencarrig Prince.

Burnie's third foal is the
yearling filly Eastlands Mossiebrae by Rosenaharley Laughris.

Her last foal is Eastlands
Harleybrae, by Rosenaharley Laughris, and we hope she will
produce again to him May 2008.
