Tango Fawcett and I have put together some photographs taken in the South of Connemara in the summer of 2006.  It shows the terrain these lovely ponies have as their natural habit. These are the ponies we saw.

The scenery is magnificent and very like the area we live in on the Southern uplands of Scotland, only I suspect wet and warm, whereas we can be wet and cold.  Our ponies (even the show ponies) live out all the year.

In August we took our first trip to Clifden with ponies.  We crossed from Cairnryan to Larne by P and O as usual.  P and O are great with livestock and always make us welcome, but then out box “Hitler” is well known now.

Great thrill BB,s 2nd at Clifden to her great friend Castle Urchin.
